With their hand tools used on the work benches of many a professional mechanic and bike shop across the globe, Unior is a name many in the bike industry will recognise, with pro teams using their tools including the likes of INEOS Grenadiers, Trek Segafredo, Trek Factory Racing and Atherton Bikes. Founded in 1919 as the Styria Iron-Industrial Company (SIIC) in Zreče, Slovenia where the headquarters remains to this day, Unior produce over 7.6 million pieces of tools and sheet-metal goods per year for four main categories; forging, special machines, hand tools and tourism. Many big names in the automotive industry rely on them as well and their forging and sintering department is used by the likes of Volkswagen and BMW, as well as Ferrari and Lamborghini.
