The Hiplok D1000 is the world’s first portable anti-angle grinder resistant D lock, designed to combat the most common tool used in professional bike theft. Engineered as part of Hiplok’s advanced 1000 Series, it delivers industry-leading protection for high-value bicycles and e-bikes.
Unlike standard D locks, the D1000 uses a specialist composite material developed to resist sustained angle grinder attacks. During an attempted cut, the material actively degrades cutting discs, dramatically slowing theft attempts and providing significantly greater real-world security.
Independently tested to the highest standards, the D1000 holds Sold Secure Powered Cycle Diamond and ART 4 Star ratings, making it one of the most secure portable bike locks available.
Built around a robust 32mm shackle, the D1000 features anti-rotation double locking tabs, meaning both sides of the lock must be cut to defeat it. The rubberised outer coating protects your bike frame from scratches while maintaining a premium finish.
The compact 92mm x 155mm internal locking area ensures a close fit around frames and fixed objects, helping to reduce leverage attacks without compromising portability.
