The Brompton Electric G Line 4-speed SuperRoll+ combines the versatility and capability of the G Line with Brompton's purpose-designed e-Motiq electric system. Built around larger 20-inch wheels, a powerful rear motor, 345Wh battery and hydraulic disc brakes, it's designed to deliver a confident and comfortable ride through the city and beyond while retaining the compact Brompton fold.
Brompton designed the Electric G Line and its electric system together from the ground up, allowing the motor, battery, controls and bike to work seamlessly as one complete package. The result is a versatile electric folding bike that's equally suited to everyday commuting, longer leisure rides and adventures across a variety of surfaces.
The larger 20-inch wheels give the Electric G Line a stable, confident ride while remaining compact enough to fit within the Brompton fold. Schwalbe G-One All Round 54-406 tyres provide comfort and versatile grip across tarmac, cycle paths and mixed terrain.
Brompton's e-Motiq electric system uses a compact rear motor paired with a 345Wh battery to provide smooth assistance when you need it. The battery delivers a stated range of 20–45 miles (30–60km) and features an LED display. A full charge takes approximately four hours using the included 2A charger.
Handlebar Control places key electric bike functions within easy reach while riding. The smart system includes Adaptive Range Estimation and Start Assist, helping you manage your ride and electric assistance without unnecessary distractions.
The Electric G Line also connects to the Brompton Electric app for iOS and Android. App connectivity provides access to additional functionality, while over-the-air updates allow the electric system to receive new features and improvements.
A Brompton 4-speed drivetrain provides a 163% gear range using 11-13-15-18 tooth sprockets. Combined with electric assistance, the gearing provides a practical balance for urban journeys, longer rides and varied terrain.
Tektro hydraulic disc brakes deliver controlled and dependable stopping performance, with a 140mm front and 160mm rear setup. The additional braking control makes the Electric G Line well suited to changing weather conditions, longer descents and rides carrying additional luggage.
SuperRoll+ adds another level of everyday practicality. The roller system helps the folded bike move more smoothly when you're navigating stations, offices and other indoor spaces. The bike also comes with mudguards and a rack, providing a practical setup for commuting, carrying luggage and year-round riding.
Despite its larger wheels and increased capability, the Electric G Line retains the compact folding design that defines a Brompton. It transforms into a compact, locked package in under 20 seconds, making it easy to combine cycling with trains, car journeys and limited storage space.
The hand-brazed steel main frame is complemented by a steel rear frame and aluminium fork with mounting bosses. Wide Platform Quick Release pedals and ergonomic grips further improve comfort and control, while the left-hand pedal can be quickly removed to help keep the folded package compact.
A large-diameter front carrier block adaptor allows compatible Brompton luggage to be mounted directly to the bike. The G Line essential battery bag and Brompton Bell are also included, while the Essentials bag provides 1.5 litres of storage.
Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes, the Electric G Line uses different seatpost configurations to accommodate different riders while retaining the same capable G Line platform.
Starting from 19.5kg, or 15.7kg without the battery, the Brompton Electric G Line 4-speed SuperRoll+ brings together electric assistance, full-size-bike-inspired handling and Brompton folding practicality. It's a versatile electric bike designed for riders who want one bike for commuting, exploring and everyday travel.
