The TENWAYS CGO Compact is a smart, versatile electric bike designed to make everyday urban cycling easier. Combining compact 20-inch wheels with a powerful hub motor, low-maintenance belt drive and practical carrying capability, it's an ideal choice for commuting, school runs, shopping and everyday journeys around town.
At the heart of the CGO Compact is the TENWAYS C9 rear hub motor, delivering 250W of power and up to 45Nm of torque. Combined with a responsive torque sensor, the motor reacts naturally to your pedalling input, providing smooth and intuitive electric assistance whether you're pulling away from traffic lights, cruising along cycle paths or tackling moderate urban slopes.
Power is supplied by a removable 500Wh lithium-ion battery, offering a claimed range of up to 100km depending on riding conditions. Its convenient side-release design makes the battery easy to remove for charging, which is particularly useful for riders who need to store their bike away from a power socket.
One of the standout features of the CGO Compact is its Gates Carbon Belt Drive. The single-speed drivetrain provides a clean, quiet and low-maintenance alternative to a traditional chain, with no greasy chain lubrication to worry about. It's particularly well suited to regular commuting and year-round urban use.
Compact 20-inch wheels and a thoughtfully designed frame make the CGO Compact easy to manoeuvre through busy streets and easier to store when space is limited. The By.schulz Speedlifter Twist stem and foldable pedals make the bike even more convenient for storage, while an integrated frame handle helps when moving or positioning the bike.
Despite its compact dimensions, the CGO Compact is designed to be highly practical. The MIK HD rear carrier has a maximum load capacity of 27kg and is compatible with suitable MIK HD accessories, including compatible child seats. This makes the bike a versatile option for carrying shopping, luggage or helping with the school run.
Comfort is enhanced by a suspension seatpost and Selle Royal saddle, helping smooth out everyday bumps and uneven road surfaces. TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in changing weather conditions, while puncture-proof CST 20-inch tyres add durability for regular urban riding.
The easy-to-read TFT colour display provides essential riding information and includes navigation casting functionality. The TENWAYS app adds further connectivity, giving riders access to useful ride data, navigation and support features.
Integrated StVZO-compliant lighting improves visibility, with a 50 Lux front light and integrated rear light helping make the CGO Compact ready for commuting throughout the year.
Suitable for riders approximately 160–190cm (5'3"–6'3"), the TENWAYS CGO Compact combines everyday practicality with clean styling, compact dimensions and low-maintenance electric performance.
