Handmade in small batches and available just a few times a year, inspired by riding in the city at night and new ways of seeing the familiar. The all-steel C Line is offered in four Black Edition colours, powder-coated in-house at the Brompton London Factory. Each finished with Gloss Black forks and rear-frame, and sleek all-black componentry. Hardware details such as screws, nuts and other small fittings are 'invisible' in matching black.

The Classic All-Steel Folding Bike

The original design with the 3-part fold, handmade in our London factory since 1975. Compact and robust – it's a seriously engineered bike that's fun to ride. 

 Although C Line is made to stand up to the rigours of everyday life in the city, owners have taken them on around-the-world trips, on country tours and even to the South Pole, but mainly they are used 364-days a year to improve the day-to-day (we recommend a day-off for an annual service).

Geared up to go further 

You can load this 6-speed all-steel workhorse with luggage and a rack for all-weather commuting or touring, then go explore. Some owners have cycled these around the world. Most use them to improve their day-to-day

A Luggage System That Clicks

The best way to carry anything on your Brompton bike is with a Brompton bag. ​Like an extension of your bike, every bag clicks into place. The internal bag frame seamlessly connects with the Front Carrier Block (FCB).  The block is positioned on the bike's mainframe, so your steering remains smooth and stable, whatever your load.
