The Brompton G Line 8-speed SuperRoll+ is the most capable and versatile Brompton yet, combining the practicality of the iconic Brompton fold with the comfort, stability and confidence of a full-size bike. Built around larger 20-inch wheels, an 8-speed drivetrain and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, the G Line is designed to take you beyond traditional city riding and confidently explore a much wider variety of terrain.
Created as a true one-bike solution for the city and beyond, the G Line features completely redesigned geometry that delivers a stable, balanced and comfortable ride. Whether commuting through busy streets, following cycle paths, riding country lanes or exploring rougher tracks, the G Line provides reassuring handling while retaining the folding convenience that makes a Brompton so practical.
The larger 20-inch wheels transform the ride. They provide improved stability and rollover capability on uneven surfaces while remaining compact enough to fit within the Brompton fold. Schwalbe G-One All Round 54-406 tyres provide versatile grip and comfort, making the bike well suited to everything from smooth tarmac to gravel paths and mixed-surface adventures.
An 8-speed drivetrain gives the G Line a useful range of gears for varied riding. Whether climbing hills, navigating stop-start urban traffic or maintaining speed on longer journeys, the additional gearing makes it easier to adapt to changing terrain.
Tektro hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable and controlled stopping power in changing weather and riding conditions. This gives greater confidence when descending, riding on rougher surfaces or travelling with luggage.
Wide custom-made handlebars provide increased leverage and control, particularly when climbing or riding across uneven ground. Ergonomic grips and carefully designed rider contact points add comfort for longer journeys, while the wide platform pedals provide a stable and secure connection to the bike. The left-hand pedal can be quickly released to make the folded bike even more compact.
This version of the G Line features SuperRoll+, providing additional roller wheels that make the folded bike easier and smoother to move through stations, offices and other indoor spaces. Mudguards and a rack are also included, adding everyday practicality and making the bike well suited to commuting, travel and year-round riding.
Despite its increased capability, the G Line remains unmistakably a Brompton. The bike transforms into a compact, locked package in under 20 seconds, allowing it to travel easily on trains, fit into car boots and store conveniently at home or work.
The hand-brazed steel main frame is paired with a steel rear frame and aluminium fork with mounting bosses. A large-diameter front carrier block adaptor allows compatible Brompton luggage to be mounted securely to the bike, making it easy to carry everyday essentials or additional gear.
Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes, the G Line uses different seatpost configurations to accommodate different riders while retaining the same versatile frame platform.
Starting from 14.8kg, the Brompton G Line 8-speed SuperRoll+ is designed for riders who want more from a folding bike. Comfortable enough for longer journeys, capable enough for mixed terrain and compact enough for everyday transport and storage, it's a Brompton built to go further.
