The Whyte Secta 24 is a confidence-inspiring junior mountain bike designed to help young riders discover the excitement of off-road cycling. Built using the same trail-focused expertise that has made Whyte mountain bikes so popular, the Secta 24 delivers lightweight performance, stable handling and child-specific components to help riders develop skills and confidence on every adventure.
Ideal for riders aged approximately 7 to 9 years or between 120cm and 140cm tall, the Secta 24 features a lightweight multi-butted 6061 T6 aluminium frame specifically designed for younger riders. Unlike scaled-down adult frames, the purpose-built tubeset keeps weight to a minimum, making climbing, accelerating and handling significantly easier.
The carefully balanced geometry and rigid alloy fork create a stable, predictable ride that encourages confidence on trails, tracks and forest paths. Wide-volume 24 x 2.3" Kenda K-Rad tyres provide excellent grip, comfort and control, helping smooth out bumps and uneven terrain while inspiring young riders to explore further.
A reliable Shimano ESSA 1x8 drivetrain combines simple operation with a wide gear range, making it easy to tackle climbs and enjoy fast flowing descents. Powerful Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with junior-specific levers provide confident stopping power and control in all weather conditions, helping young riders build skills safely.
Every touchpoint has been carefully selected for smaller riders, including the saddle, grips, cranks and handlebars, ensuring excellent comfort and a natural fit.
