The Whyte Syphon S is a capable, efficient, and versatile full suspension mountain bike built for riders who want maximum fun on every trail. Designed to excel everywhere from technical singletrack and trail centre loops to long-distance adventures and demanding descents, the Syphon S delivers confident handling and outstanding all-round performance.
Built around a durable 6061 hydroformed T6 alloy frame, the Syphon S combines modern trail geometry with Whyte’s rider-focused engineering. Features including proportional sizing, geometry adjustment, Shape.it suspension design, and UDH compatibility create a balanced and confidence-inspiring ride across all terrain.
With 140mm front travel and 135mm rear travel, the Syphon S offers the ideal blend of control, efficiency, and trail capability. The RockShox Pike Base fork and RockShox Deluxe Select RT rear shock are custom tuned for Whyte to deliver smooth suspension performance, excellent traction, and composure on rough terrain.
Rolling on fast and grippy Schwalbe Albert Radial tyres, the Syphon S combines confident traction with efficient rolling speed for all-day trail riding. The frame is also ready for MX/mullet wheel conversion, allowing riders to run a 29-inch front wheel with a 27.5-inch rear setup for a more playful ride feel.
A reliable Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain delivers smooth and dependable shifting across varied terrain, while powerful TRP EVO Comp four-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide confident stopping power with large 203mm front and 180mm rear rotors.
