The Whyte Sythe S is built for riders who want uncompromising enduro performance without the premium price tag. Combining proven long-travel suspension, progressive geometry and a tough alloy frame, the Sythe S delivers the confidence, control and durability needed to tackle steep descents, rough terrain and demanding mountain adventures.
At the heart of the bike is Whyte's acclaimed Quad-Link 4 suspension platform, providing 170mm of front travel and 160mm of rear travel. Paired with a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork and custom-tuned Marzocchi Bomber Air piggyback rear shock, the Sythe S offers impressive traction, support and composure through technical terrain, helping riders stay in control when trails become steep, fast and challenging.
The hydroformed 6061 T6 alloy frame is designed for aggressive riding and long-term durability. Whyte's proportional sizing philosophy ensures every frame size delivers balanced handling, optimised weight distribution and predictable ride characteristics. Whether charging through bike park laps, racing enduro stages or exploring big mountain terrain, the Sythe S inspires confidence with its stable and composed ride feel.
For added versatility, the Shape.It Link geometry adjustment system allows riders to switch between high and low settings to tailor handling characteristics to terrain and riding style. The low setting enhances stability on steep descents and high-speed trails, while the higher setting provides increased pedal clearance and all-day riding efficiency.
The Sythe S comes equipped with a mixed-wheel MX setup featuring a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel. This combination delivers excellent rollover capability, agile handling and improved clearance on steep terrain. Riders with medium, large and extra-large frame sizes can also convert the bike to a full 29-inch wheel configuration using Whyte's dedicated Shape.It Link system for even greater stability and speed over rough terrain.
A reliable Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain provides smooth shifting and a wide gear range for tackling demanding climbs and fast descents, while powerful TRP EVO Comp four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 203mm rotors deliver dependable stopping power in all weather conditions. The frame-size-specific TranzX dropper post allows riders to maximise movement and control when the trail points downhill.
Built for year-round riding, the Sythe S features weather-sealed cable routing, robust frame protection, generous tyre clearance and durable pivot hardware designed to withstand wet, muddy and challenging conditions.
